Speech Language Pathologist

Vivian studied linguistics and cognitive science (BA) and speech-language pathology (MHSc) at the University of Toronto. She is currently undergoing a research degree in the field of speech-language pathology to gain a deeper understanding of the evidence-base, explore the validity of new technologies, and refine critical appraisal skills. Vivian is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
Vivian grew up in both Canada and in an international community abroad, where she learned to differentiate features of a variety of accents. She speaks English, Mandarin, and French and has background knowledge of many other languages.
Vivian is also no stranger to public speaking and has won an award for her 3-Minute-Thesis style presentation. She is familiar with both online and offline procedures of presenting, as well as the accompanying nerves of speaking to a crowd.
