How it works

Here's what working with us looks like

A lot of people come to us not knowing exactly what they need, just that something in how they communicate isn't working the way they want it to. You don't need to have it figured out before you reach out. That's what we’re for.

1

Stage 1

The consultation

A free 15-minute call to talk about your goals and questions. No formal assessment, no pressure. We listen to what you're experiencing, answer your questions, and let you know whether we think we can help. If we're a good fit, we help you match to a speech therapist and book your assessment.

Stage 2

The assessment

Your first full session is one hour. Your speech therapist will ask about your goals and professional context, assess how you communicate, and identify the specific habits worth working on.

What you get after your assessment

  • Assessment summary — a written snapshot of your current communication habits
  • Personalized goals — specific skills to target, set collaboratively with your speech therapist, grounded in the impact you want
3

Stage 3

Training sessions

Sessions are one-on-one, virtual, and built around what your assessment identified. Your speech therapist works with you during the session: practicing skills, supporting your development, giving you feedback, and tracking your progress. You'll get a shared personalized document that holds your goals, resources, and practice activities in one place. It grows with you, and you can both comment on it live.

Stage 4

The work between sessions

Progress happens in sessions and between them. Your speech therapist will give you specific practice activities based on what you need: not generic exercises, but things that connect directly to your goals and your level of progress. You can also bring real situations into any session: a presentation coming up, a conversation that didn't go well, a meeting you want to prepare for. The coaching adapts to your life as it's happening.

Questions for your coach
Ask anything
J
I have a client call Friday I'm nervous about. Can we work through it next session?
SF
Absolutely — send me the context and we'll make that the focus. That's exactly what the session is for.

Stage 5

Finish or keep improving

Some clients work intensively for a few months and reach their goals. Others check in periodically as their role evolves and new challenges come up. Your speech therapist will be honest with you about your progress and what continued work could accomplish. You stay as long as it's useful.
