Hi, I’m Lauren!
I strive to help people feel confident connecting with others through clear, compelling communication.
I completed a Bachelor and Master of Music in classical voice performance at the University of Toronto and worked as a private and classroom music teacher for over a decade.
Through this work, l developed strong listening and teaching skills to support accurate pronunciation and healthy voice production. As a professional singer, I also bring expertise in performance skills and body awareness. Since obtaining my Master of Health Science in speech-language pathology at the University of Toronto in 2021, I have worked in the areas of acquired brain injury rehabilitation, acute care, and voice therapy.
Sessions are tailored to an individual’s needs and I collaborate with clients to develop relevant and meaningful goals. These may include accent modification, achieving a more confident tone of voice, speaking more fluently, or developing presentation skills. Whatever the goals, I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can feel comfortable trying new things and growing as strong communicators. Practice is key to learning new skills and personalized exercises will be given for home practice so that clients can maintain and make gains outside of sessions.
When not working as a speech-language pathologist, I continue to sing professionally around Toronto. I also enjoy reading, cycling with friends, playing guitar and traveling.
